Gerald Lawson was the director of engineering at Fairchild Semiconductor.

WHAT

In 1970 Lawson pioneered home video gaming and helped create “Fairchild Channel F” a home entertainment system made in 1975.

WHY

Lawson's work allowed people to play a variety of games in their homes and paved the way for systems like the Atari, Nintendo, Xbox and Playstation.
